    Seven Layer Cake

    The Seven Layer cake derrives its name from seven delicate layers of vanilla roulade, filled with six layers of rich creamy chocolate butter cream and finshed with an icing of a dark, semi-sweet chocolate . Incredibly light and flavorful, and easy to slice. 

    Three 10” logs - each log serves 11 so 33 servings per box.

    Other traditional favorites in this collection include the Black Forrest Cake and Marzipan Roulade Pastry. The Seven Layer Pastry is an individual portion version of this cake.

    An older form of layer cake is common in southern and eastern Europe. In Ukraine and Russia, people still make these cakes in the old traditional way. The cake batter is bakes in a frying pan in thin layers, these layers are often covered with a thin layer of cream and stacked 7 or 8 layers high.
    An éclair is an oblong pastry made with choux dough filled with a cream and topped with icing. Originating in France around the time of the Profiterole.
